Installing the reports feature “Power Management” of SCCM R3

10/05/2010

System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R3 has an interesting collection of reports adjusted to the power management feature (http://www.marcelosincic.com.br/blog/post/green-it-no-system-center-configuration-manager-r3-power-management.aspx), but several users who are using the R3 TAP aren’t finding reports.

This problem is because the R3 just copies the report pack but doesn’t install automatically. To do this follow the steps below, remembering that only work if your Configuration Manager has service of SQL Server Reporting Services integrated:

alt

1-go to the menu tree above and use the option "Copy Report to Reporting Services"

alt

2-instead of doing the normal process of deploy of reports, choose Import mode, and reference the file that is in the directory C:\Program Files (x 86) \Microsoft Configuration Manager\Reports\Power Management and has the name MicrosoftReportPack

Ready, your report now are imported and simply run them, remembering before following the steps outlined in the post above to enable the services.
